New Method Packaging has more than 40 years of experience in the food packaging industry.
New Method Packaging was founded in 1982 by Neil Miller. The name “New Method” was derived from his initials, N.M.
Like just about any small business, the company started small, producing just five products, which were different sizes of plain pizza circles. And, like most family businesses, the primary employees were Neil and his wife, Loretta.
Neil and Loretta had five children — Nelia, Kevin, Melanie, Julie, Thom, and Nolan. Over the years, each of them joined the company at one time or another, whether it was for a full-time job or to work their way through college.
From those humble beginnings in 1982, New Method Packaging has continued to expand its capabilities and grow its product line. Today, we offer just about any kind of corrugated bakery packaging you can think of, along with custom packaging. Over the years, the mission has remained the same:
“To build a long-lasting partnership based on a quality corrugated product, superior service, and competitive pricing.”
And, of course, the family is still involved.
Back in September 1982, Kevin came to work at New Method. His first job was to package and fill orders from customers. Over the years, he’s performed just about every job there is at New Method. Today, he serves as the General Manager.
Kevin’s son Jerad joined New Method full-time after he graduated college in April 2012 with a management degree. Jerad serves as the Operations Manager and handles accounting and product design.
